What
you want in a foot detox unit is to generate negative and positive ions.
Manufacturers of the
more expensive units sometimes make claims as to being better, however the
single units we sell generates both the negative and positive
ions.
On our
website the IonDuo is the more expensive because it has many more features

Ion Detox machines, how can I make the right choice?

I completely
understand your concerns. There are many companies making a lot of claims.
One that really gets me is a company making the claim that they have the best
unit and offering it for around $2,800, and at the same time offering to give a
purchaser up to $1,500 for trading in a competitors unit. Why would they
offer
$1,500 trade in on a product they condemn? This shows The markup is
tremendous and outrageous.
3. How do you clean the
array? (The part that goes in the water)
A:
The array needs to be
cleaned after every use by soaking in a combination of 30 parts water and 1 part
of phosphoric acid or household bleach. Any drug store and most grocery stores
have this. Soak at least 5 minutes & no more than 20min.
4. What is an
array?
A: The array is the part that goes in the tub of water and
creates the ions.
The array generates the ions and the ions are assimilated into the body. The
unit comes with one array and it will last about 30-50 uses. Please be aware
that there are many factors as to how long the array will last including but not
limited to water, energy level of the machine, and the time of session.

1. People who have battery
operated implants (e.g.. pace makers) should never use 2. Anyone who has
received an organ transplant should never use. 3. Pregnant women or
nursing woman should never use. 4. Less than 8 years old child should not
use. 5. People who have low blood sugar should eat before use. 6.
Persons using high quantities of tobacco or alcohol should use the machine. 7.
Persons with low immunity should use the machine. 8.Persons who have high
stress should use the machine. 9.Persons who use excessive oils for cooking
should use the machine. 10.Persons with diabetes, hypertension, high blood
sugar, rheumatism, or arthritis should use the machine.
9. What type of water should I use?
A: Use ordinary tap water, well water or spring water.
You can use most faucet filtered water. We use a Pur brand.
10. Why does
the water change color?
A:
Why does the water change color?
We
must consider all the factors as to why the water changes colors. At the
beginning of an Ion foot bath session we add salt to water for optimum
conductivity. Also, we use tap water and tap water has minerals and other
impurities. During the electrolysis some particles are combined and some may be
separated. Our water that comes from the tap can contain variable quantities of
suspended solids such as sodium, calcium, magnesium, chlorine antimony, arsenic,
asbestos, barium, boron, cadmium, chromium, copper, cyanide, fluorine, iron,
mercury, nickel, thallium, nitrates, pesticides, herbicides, detergents and
organic material, amongst many others.
The array also leaves some debris in the water as
the electrolysis takes place. The reason is the "arrays" are metallic and will
release waste and will result in an electrolytic reaction which will in turn
cause it to corrode.
We can use ph paper to check the alkalinity of the
water. The PH will increase during the session and this is causing some of the
changes in the water color. The alkalinity change will cause oxygen, hydrogen,
chorine and some sulfur to be release. This is one of the reasons for the color
changes and the release of small quantities of different gases.
Our feet can also affect the changes in color. If
you do a foot detox without your feet in the water the tub is easier to clean.
If your feet are in the water, there is much more oil and the release of
substances from the sebaceous glands and dead cells in the water. Your own
acidity and alkalinity will also have an effect on the water changing colors.
Remember, it is the negative and positive ions
that penetrate the pores in the feet that we benefit from.
11. What are the
Amps and Volts?
A: The amps will vary depending of how much you
increase the conductivity of the water. This is explained in our manuals.
Our units run about 12vdc-16vdc and the amps run an average of 30-50ma. DC
voltage is direct current and much safer than AC.
12. What does
the negative and Positive dual polarity mean?
A: Having
Dual Polarity is important because everyone has different needs.
When the Ion Detox is set to positive, the current is directed to the
positive pole, which then makes more negative ions in the water.
Example: You have 5 settings on the IonDuo. The amount of
the negative ions is linked to the increase of the Ampere (A=1.7-2.1 is the best, it
means that it creates the most negative ions at 2.1). The settings, which just
control the direction of the magnetic field in the water, have the same
function in creating negative ions. Different patterns are
chosen according to different people. All our Units will
generate Negative and Positive Ions.

My Water does not change colors.
In some areas
the water does not change colors. This does not mean the Ionization is not
working. If your energy is increased to the specified level for the unit you
are using then you are generating negative and positive ions. Also, after the
session check and see if there is an oily substance around the edges of the
lining. This oily substance is released during the session and is also an
indicator that the Ion foot detox is working correctly. You will also notice
that your urine is darker because body waste is activated during the Ion foot
detox session.
